      • The Neuropsychologist is responsible for producing baseline pre and post-treatment evaluations of clients’ cognitive functioning. This position is also a pivot figure in the process of cognitive improvement.

      • Responsible for the implementation of a high standard cognitive assessment protocol (computerized based), as defined at Aviv Scientific’s headquarters.

      • The Dietitian provides nutritional programs and recommendations based on a pre-assessment of clients after evaluating their nutritional and health status, anthropometric and body composition measurements, lifestyle, blood test results, and dietary habits and preferences. The Dietitian will customize the nutritional principals from an existing pool of diets and nutrition recommendations. In addition, the Dietitian provides support and counsel on how to lead a sustainable healthier lifestyle in order to obtain successful treatment outcomes and to improve health issues related to nutrition.

       

      Essential Functions: 

      • Works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide white-glove healthcare services to an exclusive clientele. Manages a caseload of clients throughout the treatment process; and at staged intervals, meets with clients to assess their ongoing nutritional and dietary needs and records progress in the electronic health record.
      • Counsels patients on nutritional and dietary issues and encourages and promotes healthy eating habits includes online written response in addition to the frontal sessions. Provides the Clinical Program Manager with recommendations on foods and supplements for client consumption at the clinic, before, during or after treatment.
      • Assists clients with developing meal plans, taking into consideration clients’ preferences, lifestyle and practical issues; evaluates the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed.
      • Provides guidance clients on how to implement the actual eating plan according to the chamber treatment schedule.
      • Promotes better nutrition by speaking to client groups about diet, nutrition, and the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases.
      • Keeps up with the latest nutritional science research.

      Job Summary

      Under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for the initial evaluation and intake process with potential patients; manages the day-to-day pre and post-treatment and maintains a multidisciplinary dialogue with the team to ensure positive treatment outcomes. The Nurse Navigator maintains a caseload of patients and documents progress in the Electronic Medical Record (“EMR”).

      Essential Functions

      • Works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide white-glove healthcare services to an exclusive clientele.
      • Performs the initial intake process with all clients (e.g. discussing and recording of medical history data, performing intake assessment, capturing all notes within the EMR and reporting to physicians).
      • Performs ongoing case management for a caseload of clients to ensure proper internal collaboration across disciplines so that the clients are able to extract maximum benefit from the hyperbaric therapy treatments.
      • Attends to the hyperbaric chamber with clients on a daily basis and able to undergo exposure up to three (3) atmospheric pressure while ensuring patient safety within the chamber, attending to emergency medical needs during treatment, communicating with the chamber operator continuously, and taking charge of all patient safety during two (2) hour dive time.
      • Meets with clients at staged intervals to ensure compliance with treatment regimens, assessments, and perform external care coordination as necessary; reviews results from medical tests.
      • Collaborates with the client relations team during the client assessment phase to both assess potential clients for appropriateness of therapy as well as introduce clients to the Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT) from a medical perspective.
      • Supervises portions of the extensive pre and post treatment assessment process to ensure proper data collection and streamlining of the experience for clients.
      • Supervises daily treatments from a clinical perspective, in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Manager, Hyperbaric Program/Technical Manager and chamber attendant team.
