How participants are selected
How participants are selected
Aviv Cares Selection Committees, headed up by specialist physicians, will review applications and choose participants.
The Committees base their decisions on three key criteria:
- How effective the Aviv Program is likely to be for improving your condition and general wellbeing
- Your financial need
- The wider impact of your receiving treatment: How will it enable you to have a positive benefit on your community? How will you reach out to others who share your medical condition?
-
Which costs are covered?
Which costs are covered?
Aviv Cares will cover a significant portion of the cost of the program based on financial need as shown by your most recent tax return. You’ll need to cover your travel costs to The Villages, Florida, and your living expenses during your three-month treatment. You may be able to engage nonprofits focused on your medical condition to get help with these additional expenses.
