About Dr. Amir Hadanny:
- As head of research for parent company Aviv Scientific, Dr. Hadanny has been involved with Aviv Clinics since its inception, joining the on-site team at our Florida clinic in 2022. In addition to caring for Aviv Clinics’ clients in The Villages, he is responsible for oversight of clinical operations and patient care as the chief medical officer, as well as training and education for Aviv’s clinical staff in Florida, Israel and Dubai.
- Dr Hadanny performed his neurosurgery residency at Galilee Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident. He also completed a stereotactic and functional neurosurgery fellowship at Albany Medical Center. Most recently, he performed as a Neurosurgeon at Mass General Hospital.
- A well-known research scientist, Dr. Hadanny has worked alongside Professor Shai Efrati studying novel applications for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Together, they have co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles about the effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on numerous conditions, including stroke, PTSD, fibromyalgia, TBI and post-concussion syndrome, and long COVID. He has published multiple other works about medical topics including spinal stimulation, bioinformatics and machine learning.
- As a Harvard Research Fellow, Dr. Hadanny is leading the analysis of the Brain Modulation Lab’s olfactory network mapping project. Dr. Hadanny is also a co-founder and the chief medical officer of Brain.space, a medical startup company that develops AI models for human cognition.
- In his spare time, Dr. Hadanny is a mountaineer and a hiker, who looks forward to his next climbing adventure in a national park with his family. He loves to play basketball and run. He is proud to have competed in and survived two full Marathons.
